Reasons:
A-Z Children's Charity has a duty to protect all children on our projects. We hope that by becoming an UCRNN member we will gain the great source of support, which we will require when dealing with child protection issues, should they arise. We would expect to be able to contact the UCRNN children’s services with any child protection cases we encounter. We expect that UCRNN will firstly assist us with enquiries and assessment about whether a child or young person is in need of protection or services and then direct us as to the appropriate action to be taken to protect the child/children in question.
